blahhhhhh
So I got to school. Saw Gwen and Kate. Discussed my satire...which was on people who wear uggs and mini skirts.
"this winter the goal seems to be to look cheap in the most expensive way possible"
THOSE BOOTS ARE UGLY AND EXPENSIVE.
Well everything is trendy.
I was reading something in Spin (which i bought forever ago cause of an interview with ian mackaye) and it had matt stone (one of the south park guys) saying the only way to be a punk nowadays was to say george bush is awesome.
haha and being me, that set me off on this whole string of thoughts about how everyone thinks they are so unique.
Like, I dunno maybe its just amity, but it seems like everyone dresses "weird" so that now everything seems normal.
Too normal.
SCENE. everything is scene, or emo, or posery, or goth, or indie, or SOMETHING.
then there's the people who won't do something cause it will make them look scene.
oh god and myspace. myspace is terrible because everyone tried to be artsy and now myspace is like an adjective "you're so MYSPACE." blahhjaskfshdaj.
its nice out, but chilly. i need it to be march. the kind of weather where i can just go walking outside for hours, by myself or with friends. like last year when we'd all go to the town hall playground, or when kate and i discovered that block of concrete by the dirt pile...haha i like having adventures. like this time in may when jessie and i went into the woods behind my house and found a stream and just rolled up our pants, took off our shoes, and splashed around in it.
and i want to see leaves on trees again.
i want it to be green!!!!!!!!
